The Ru™ Booster and every component are rigorously tested by the independent experts at Intertek to ensure complies with the latest booster safety standards (1) and EU REACH, US CPSIA and Canada CCPSA (2).
We go even further and tested Ru™ Booster like adult furniture. How? By dropping a 75kg weight, about the weight of an adult, on it for 20,000 times (3). Why? When kids don’t do “gentle”, you can relax.

We always look for ways on how to extend the lifespan of Bombol gear, so you don’t need to buy frequent replacements as your kid grows. Ru™ Booster marked a new chapter in our greenhouse gases accounting, and we swapped gut feeling for a “Numbers don’t lie.” approach. It provides scientific validation of our design choices and valuable insights for future products, so you can focus on being Sparky parents for the next generation.
To guide our design process, we use average Greenhouse Gasses [CO2e] values to determine the best materials for the job. At the end we calculate CO2e amounts using recognized global frameworks including ISO 14040/14044 and ISO 14067.
Folded flat, the Ru™ Booster occupies 85% less volume than when opened, allowing 6 times as many Ru™ Boosters to fit into a single shipment to optimize transport efficiency. Your trunk or stroller will thank us too.
Ru™ is a solidly engineered, foldable Booster that is always adventure-ready and grows with your kid. Open, it fits children from 6 to 36 months. Closed, the folded armrests providing robust support under the seat for older kids. One booster for more years means buying fewer replacements.
The main structure is made of one plastic only that snaps together without glue or screws. Hooks, feet, belts and placemat come off by hand, and a quick snip of the scissors parts the buckles from the belts. So when the time comes, it is easy to sort components at home according to your local waste guidelines.

good product, poor user manual. usage of the hooks at the bottom is not explained.
Love the bum support, best portable baby seat we’ve tried so far. My biggest complaint is how difficult it is to takedown after use. The buttons are super hard to press tbh, I’m always working up a nervous sweat at the restaurant trying to put it away quickly while the baby is crying and fussing to leave. If I had the baby in a carrier, it would be impossible (folding the chair takes two hands and some strength to push it down).
If only their origami lightweight chair was in stock, I would have bought that one 🙁 been waiting over a month and sadly it’s still not available in HK so I got the Ru.
Again, still would HIGHLY recommend it over other chairs for ergonomics. But please bring back the origami chair.
